Problems of Starting A Blog

A Blog is anything you write about a particular topic you share with your audience on the world wide web. You can focus on a particular niche that you are passionate about in all its forms.

By the way,  before we go on further this blog contains affiliate links that I get a commission from when purchased at no cost to you.

For me, the goal of a blog is to share your knowledge and ideas with your audience that will help them grow and improve in their dealings with everyday life. I started my blog recently. It’s an amazing journey and I’m so excited for this blog to flourish in the years to come.

A blog is never a quick rich scheme. It’s a passion that can turn into your passive income in time. It takes determination, consistency, and willingness to learn to be able to reap the fruit of success one day.

HERE ARE THE PROBLEMS OF STARTING A BLOG

  1. Choosing The Niche

Yes, choosing the Niche is one of the hardest parts of starting a blog. I had a hard time choosing which topic I want to blog about. I am very much interested on a lifestyle blog or money blog.

With that, I had to narrow down my options and see which interests me the most. I finally decided to do a money blog because it is a general problem. Inflation has been on the rise anywhere in the world after the pandemic.

Every one of us needs a solution to this money problem we face today. This is the very main reason why I chose the money blog. I need to be wise with the money that I have.

As for me, I try to live a frugal life to be able to cope with the rising inflation. I can relate to anyone out there who wants to be better in the money sector.

2. Money To Start The Blog

I know that people are saying you don’t need money to start a blog. Me, I did spend some money to start my blog because I want a legit blog that I can call my own. This is the reason why my blog has HTTPS:// on my website.

Years ago, I tried to start a blog without any further knowledge of the topic. So, it was never my own because I never spent a dime for it to materialize and become officially mine.

Thanks to Bluehost for making my dream a reality.  I had to pay a decent amount to protect my website. I do yearly subscriptions so that I don’t have to think about it too often.

I also subscribe to Canva which helps me a lot with the template creation that I post on my Pinterest. I either use Tailwind to schedule my post which makes life easier or I create templates on my off days from work.

For now, my focus is on making my website functional and creating more content for all the readers out there. I want to become better every day in the blogging world.

3. Theme Creation

The theme for a blog is an important deal. I never thought that I need to create or personalize my theme before launching my blog. I am glad there are free themes in Bluehost that I can tweak.

There are also themes that you can buy and personalize it. It’s more expensive but it’s worth it as they say. In my blog, my background is pink because that is my favorite color. To this day, I am still learning how to design my website further and make it more professional looking.

Each day is a step to improve my blog better. If I could look back to the days of starting a blog, I could say that the first 1 week I had sleepless nights. It was not easy for me since my background is in the medical field.

I am not computer savvy and I am not so familiar with gadgets. Thanks to my kids that help me to learn more about the computer and to be able to make my theme more personal.

4. Blogging Takes Time

Blogging is a journey. In all honesty, 24 hours is not enough to make a blog functional. I need to be equipped with the necessary tools to be able to launch it. As advised by many bloggers, it has to have more content like 10 to 15 topics to launch the whole blog.

Because of my excitement, I launch my blog with just a welcome note and 1 content. I feel like if I would wait longer then my interest will get lesser as days go by.

It also takes time for me to create content. Probably for other creators, it takes them just about an hour for one piece of content but for me, it takes a few hours especially since I am still learning the ways how to make it.

I had to do trial and error and see what works well. I had to learn the SEO or search engine optimization style. I need to learn what the readers are searching for on the internet.

I need to follow the algorithm of a blogger. I read a lot and learn more every day so that I have ideas that I can share with my readers.

5. Balancing Work and Blogging

I am a mother of 3 workings a full-time job and a per diem job to make both ends meet. I do know the struggles of a mother and money matters. On my off days, I do my household chores and joggle up with my blogging.

I find time to write because it gives me the freedom to share my thoughts with the world and share my experiences. On top of that, the topic of money has always been my passion in my younger years.

Balancing work and blogging is a challenge that I am willing to take. Despite my busy schedule, I always try to spend quality time with my family.

Conclusion:

Indeed, When I started Blogging I had all those problems that came my way but that does not stop me from moving on and taking the challenge. I am very passionate about it and I will try my best to do blogging a habit.

In blogging, I have found my voice that will help all of us in our financial journey no matter what age we are or what our status in life is. Money matters always start within ourselves.

I am not an expert. I am just like anybody else embarking on the same financial journey to financial freedom and making my dreams a reality.
